I think there is a complex of
GM. They can do no wrong. I don't even respond over there on the OH threads and the way I've been feeling about the politics there, I will be seeing less and less of DP. Which mean ya'll will be seeing much more of me here![]()

I was a non believer, but the facts are overwhelming. I don't think GM will step up either and recall. That's to bad, they had the chance to do the right thing and keep/and make loyale customers. It's great that TxC designed a fix. So the LLY can be all they can be

I have been watching them.
Killerbee is so good at talking about what he has no clue of. At least he stays consistent. His post is sooooo full of errors its laughable. Why comment so strongly about what you don't know about???? By the way, the truck was 100% stock. Period. GM did inspections of it both BEFORE and AFTER. I think that dipshit is alluding to the intake air temperature. See, he mouths off without even knowing that GM applied the 06 intake fix to my truck. Its funny watching all the conjecture and hypothesis, if they want fact they can simple ask here rather than the "open foot insert mouth" technique they are using there. But hey, its fun to watch, and with the money ALREADY in the bank from the lawsuit I would say if someone wants to call me a dumbass or idiot or whatever for running 250* so long I would look them right in the eye and say "YOU MISSED THE WHOLE POINT". But, then again, maybe thats why this particular dumbass got over $30k and got to keep his truck. ![]() . . |

I don't care, I won the case ![]() Just so everyone knows, make no mistake that I knew exactly why the truck threw the 1093, and it had nothing to do with the ECT or any of that spew by Michael Pattonted fool, it was simply because the truck was low on fuel. It limped right before it crested a steep hill, which is not shown in the video because I was done video'ing already, and likely it uncovered the fuel pickup briefly, but since the objective was to show the judge as much as possible that the truck was a POS, I played it to the hilt and grabbed the camera and I included it in the DVD. I also included the phone conversations about other Duramaxes getting hot. Did it work? I dunno, but I have 30,000+ reasons to say it did! . |

There is a ton more video that the judge got to see that you haven't seen, where the temp outside was lower with no big grades and the truck would NOT overheat. However, the point was driven home that as the outside temp rises, so does the max ECT reached, and that the fan is a thin line between a marginal cooling system and assured overheat. The main overheat video was used in the main presentation to establish what happens when all the conditions come together.
Your ass gets owned by overheating, THATS what happens. ![]() I will be posting more video, many of you will recognize the fan cycle, all LLY Dmax's do it, they are all the same. . |

To those of us who have boar witness to all the Rhetoric since the beginning of the first overheat thread it all comes as no surprise or shock. That’s why I get such a dang kick out of reading it. Also from the Diesel Spot, upon invitation to become a member while I was in Iraq, and following TxC's whole battle with GM, the video just highlights just how much of a genius TxC really is. It all makes perfect sense to me and I understood all aspects of it. VICTORY OOH-RAW
