Thanks for the update. Kinda strange that you have not seen a milage increase. I guess that they truely do like the 2000 rpm sweet spot for economy.

I am going to be honest here. I probably have seen about a 1mpg gain with this conversion, but I am leary of telling guys that because everyones driving style is different and actuall gains will varry between drivers. I also have not been on the road much since I did the conversion...not much reason to at the current cost of fuel here.....almost to $5.00 a gallon here. I will tell you this...if your only reason for doing this conversion is to gain fuel economy...you may be disapointed...but if you want a nicer driving truck at freeway speeds...go for it and don't look back.

So about how many rpm's did you drop at 75mph ? If you havent done your bedliner yet, look at a "Superliner " job if you can before you jump in.It has a shiney look to it, has a larger dapple and it is a poly rather than a tar base. Comes in colors too, but I chose black. Had it covered over the rails and over the tailgate and eliminated the stock beat up tailgate protector. Used round black "push in" plugs in the stock protector holes.

I droped between 3 and 4 hundred RPM, plus another 1 to 150 going to 265's Overall I dropped right at 500prm from stock with the modifications I have done. At 75 acording to the factory guage I am turning about 1900 PRM, on my attitude monitor it's more like 1800 to 1850. Like I have said beofre, if your thinking about this for the RPM fdrop and how much nicer the truck id to drive on the freeway, go for it and don't look back. If you only looking at it for millage gains, you might be disapointed. about the only way to see real millage gains is to reduse the wind resistance caused by the truck, anything else you try will only give you fractional gains overall, and may be hard to justify in cost savings per gallon (although if fuel prices keep going up like they have been, it may be easier to justify even a 1MPG gain soon).

Also Thanks for the tip on the bed liner.......I am still in a holding pattern on that.....but I will be looking at Rhino Lining, Line-X and the one you suggested now.... Right now my extra income looks like it's going to attorney fees.
