I liked the comment that the guyy said the salesman told him that GM fixed the problem??

How can they fix a problem they they insist they don't have???

The lift and tires (without regear) is not helping anything, but there are a few others, that were stock, chiming in saying their temps climb too. O'boy

But they are knocking the temps back down. Aren't the LBZ's like this too? blksmks gets to 230 and drops also.

So TX do you think these are signs they are as bad as the LLY's?

Na, not as bad as an LLY, but still a concern.

Sounds like the LBZ to me (which is what the LMM is basically)
It can keep itself from OH'ing but it uses the fan a lot to do it. Most people won't put the right combo together to ever realize it though.

I don't think they will ultimately overheat, but like blksmok I think it is piss poor design to rely on the fan, which is such a power and fuel waster and noise maker, to do it. Why ruin trips with a fan that cycles on and off all the time and a gauge that swings left and right making the owner worry?
